Being an entrepreneur can be exhilarating. So many creative highs. Such great moments of pride from braving new things and really going for it.
But have you ever spent a day in your business writing, creating, coaching, feeling fulfilled; and then your brain wouldn't turn off afterward?

You know how when you’re first dating someone and they don’t text for a few days…
…and you get that anxious feeling in your chest that you’ll never hear from them again and it’s over and oh by the way love is only for other people, so you might as well just curl up with a pint of s’mores ice cream and a Love Island binge because your Caleb is obviously never coming?? It can feel the same way when you’re building a business. A client came to me recently looking for tips to store her laptop and supplies after work.
Soon it came out, though, that she had a bigger issue… she kept falling asleep on the job! She loved her work, but throughout the day she often felt the need for a nap. We dug into this, and it turned out her naps weren’t random, and she wasn’t really tired every time. She usually felt sleepy right when it was time to post on social media. |
